We design and manufacture air and water cooled asynchronous motors with squirrel cage and slip ring rotors for marine, oil and gas applications. ABM provides drive solutions ranging from 0.37 kW up to 500KW. Explosion-proof electric motors manufactured according to Ex-n, Ex-e, Ex-p explosion protection classifications are included in our scope of supply. In addition, we supply drives for high-performance equipment and machinery such as air separation plants, compressors and pumps. As a total solution partner, we offer our clients custom engineering services (design, order processing and operation). The benefits of our solutions are optimized motor design, low starting currents, the highest efficiency, longevity and reliability in operation.
Another part of our scope of supply includes reliable solutions for marine applications certified by required marine certification authorities like ABS, DNV GL, LR and others. The challenges and demands associated with their use have increased in complexity and therefore ABM built up expertise for applications in the maritime industry. The combination of our experience with the embodied high quality approach allows us to successfully pool our expertise and resources for the benefit of our customers and business partners. References and experience have been gathered through drive solutions for LNG or seismic research applications as well as through hybrid package concepts for marine drives.
